About Page 2 Music
Jon King
Jon King got his start in 2003 producing and developing Epic Records artist, Augustana, a band whom King met while studying at Greenville College. The band and producer worked every weekend at King's home studio in Kentucky and later that year King went on to produce and record the original version of Augustana's hit song, "Boston." In 2006, Jon relocated to Nashville, TN and over the next two years, King worked full-time in the music business, continuing to record with a number of independent rock bands including indie rock darlings The October. and Alabaster Box, with sessions yielding two TRAA #1 certified singles for the latter.
More recently, King produced and co-wrote the debut album of Lava/Universal Republic artist Throwing Gravity, and produced the debut single “Live Again” for EMI/FOF artist, Future Leaders of the World. King presently works from his own Nashville, TN studio complex, Page 2 Studios.
King has written and produced songs licensed for use on on SYFY’s "Stargate Universe", The CW’s "Fly Girls", MTV, and ABC’s Greek, and 10 things I Hate About You. He is published by Nottinghill Music.
